He put together a presentation that included the history, present and facts about the language and brought plenty of information and sound clips for the students to analyze. What some students were surprised to learn was that while Leonese is not often "spoken," there are many nuances of the language present (such as their suffixes for the diminutive, participles end in -ao or -aú) in the words they hear and use every day, both at home and in the city!
