The week ahead...

As the World Cup continues to entertain fans in Brazil and beyond, the fiestas of San Juan and San Pedro will be celebrated here in León meaning there will be plenty of cultural activities for our students to participate in both with the Program and their host families. The traditional hoguera, or bonfire, will officially open the week of festivities which includes a day off of class for our students. On Wednesday after class, many students will be taking part in an optional excursion to the Cuevas de Valporquero, giving them another look at all this diverse region of Spain that we call home has to offer. Normal classes will be held on Thursday and Friday, still leaving students plenty of time to enjoy the festivities.
